Kristi Ekman has been with Journeys since 2013. She began as a travel specialist due to her love of helping people plan Disney vacations and soon expanded her services to include family all-inclusives and romance travel. As the mother of 3 young children, Kristi understands that time is the most precious commodity. She seeks to help busy families and brides and grooms plan the perfect vacation with the least amount of stress.
Kristi is a graduate of Disney’s College of Knowledge, and also is a graduate of the onsite Walt Disney World Onsite Agent Education Training. She attends the yearly EarMarked Travel Agent events and frequently visits Walt Disney World with her family. She loves to be the “disnerd” so her clients don’t feel the pressure of trying to learn everything there is to learn about the ever-changing parks and resorts.

On the romance travel side, Kristi provides the invaluable service of coordinating all the guests to clients’ destination weddings as well as helping the bride and groom select that perfect destination wedding location. Kristi is a member of the Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialists Association and is a Certified Silver Level Sandals and Beaches Specialist, Hard Rock WOW Certified (Weddings on Water), as well as a Saint Lucia certified expert and certified as a Jamaica travel expert. She also loves to provide educated, experienced help to brides and grooms when selecting a honeymoon destination that will match their personality as a couple.
Kristi’s office is based just outside of Baltimore, MD, though she helps clients all over the US. She has often worked with members of the military as well, in order to provide them with all the discounts which may be available to the armed force.
