To tip, or not to tip?
Sandals and Beaches Resorts have a strict No Tipping Policy, but there are a few exceptions to this rule. Read on to learn more!

The reason for the no tipping policy is pretty simple, actually. Specifically, Sandals and Beaches have trained their professionals to provide top-notch service and hospitality without excepting tips. The exceptions to this rule are few but duly noted.
· BUTLERS – Butlers are trained and employed by the English Guild of Professional Butlers, therefore, they are allowed to accept tips for a job well-done. Typically, the going rate for a butler is between $20 - $40 per day and well worth the money!
· SPA ATTENDANTS – The spa is owned by Sandals Resorts but because it is a separate entity the attendants are allowed to receive tips. This experience, just like at home, is definitely tip warranted! Do be sure to check your bill, as a new service charge has been implemented and may have been included in your overall bill. This would be a “standard” tip around 15%, so if you feel your attendant deserves an extra special something then be sure to let her know how great your experience was!
· TRANSFER DRIVERS – The drivers that take you to and from are not employees of Sandals or Beaches. They are contracted employees and would certainly accept a gratuity for a job well done. The amount to tip is completely up to you, based on how many passengers and how long the trip is. If the driver handles your bags and gives extra special attention to make your drive more enjoyable be sure to let him know how much you appreciate the extra care!
Remember everyone likes to be acknowledged for a job well done. Be sure to compliment them and let their supervisors know what a good job they are doing. Kind words go a long way and may actually help reward the stellar employee that made your stay so complete!
